About the workshops

Bharatanatyam is a dance form with an emphasis on alignment, co-ordination, and precision. The workshops explore these principles of movement with an emphasis on intricate footwork, hand gestures and facial expression. Drama is a main component of bharatanatyam. Workshops will also explore choreography of dance based on text, poetry, or songs through group work and improvisation.
